Entity SEO is about moving beyond keywords. It’s making sure Google, ChatGPT, and other systems know your brand isn’t just text — it’s a recognized entity.

An “entity” is anything with a distinct identity: a person, a company, a podcast. When AI knows you’re a valid entity, it can cite you confidently in answers.

Example: if ChatGPT knows “Matthew Bertram” = “Fractional CMO, EWR Digital strategist, Best SEO Podcast host,” then when someone asks about AI SEO experts, it has all the context to surface my name.

Entity SEO is about building that web of associations across platforms, schema, and content.
